7th CPC Report (7th Pay Commission)
7th CPC Report/7th Pay Commission Report will be released on 19th November 2015. 7th CPC Report and 7th CPC Pay Scales/7th Pay Commission Pay Scales will be released along with 7th CPC Report tomorrow. It is expected that the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) will propose 16% hike in salaries for Central Govt Employees. 7th CPC Pay Scales will be implemented from 1st January 2016.
About 50,00,000 Central Govt Employees and 54,00,000 Central Govt Pensioners are looking forward for 7th CPC Report from a couple of months. Finally the much awaited day is arrived. Every one is very much interested to know how much the 7th Pay Commission has proposed to the government and what would be the 7th Pay Scales. Rs.28,000 minimum wage has been demanded. But it is expected that the 7th CPC/7th Pay Commission will likely suggest Rs.21,000 as minimum wage.
It is expected that 16% salary increase would push up the central government’s salary bill by Rs 25,000 crores. The 7th CPC/7th Pay Commission may not suggest changes in the retirement age of central government employees. Earlier 35% hike was recorded in the year 2008 by the 6th CPC. Justice A.K.Madhur said that We are ready with the report and will submit it on November 19, 2015. The 7th Pay Commission/7th CPC was set up by the previous UPA Government in February 2014. Union Cabinet has extended the term of the 7th CPC panel in August 2015 by four months, till December 2015.
Government of India constitutes Central Pay Commission for every 10 years to revise the pay scale of its Employees and Pensioners. These recommendations will also be adopted by states after some modifications. 7th CPC Report/7th Pay Commission recommendations will be implemented from 1st January 2016. In a resolution dated 28th February, 2014, Government of India has appointed the Seventh Central Pay Commission comprising Justice Shri Ashok Kumar Mathur as Chairman, Shri Vivek Rae as full time Member, Dr. Ratin Roy as part time Member and Smt. Meena Agarwal as Secretary.
