While granting A WEEK to the company to file a sworn affidavit, the Bench comprising acting Chief Justice Sri.DILIP B.BHOSALE and Justice Sri.S.V.BHATT reiterated that the helpless investors who had deposited their life’s savings with AGRI GOLD COMPANIES should get back their money with interest and directors of the company must inform the court what properties they were going to sell to settle the dues.

Because he has been fighting for the repayment and filed a public interest litigation seeking a direction to handover the case to the CBI or Enforcement Directorate.




Earlier, AP State Govt has issued G.O’s for the Attachment of properties of M/s Agri Gold Farms & Estates India Pvt Ltd. under sec 3 of Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999.

Agri Gold had collected deposits and offering higher rates of interests besides real estate operations and construction. It has done its business in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. In the recent times, the company was not paid the refunds to the depositors nor registered any land on the depositors’ names. Cheques issued by the company towards refunds have been dishonored by the respective Banks.
