APPSC Panchayat Secretary Screening Test Syllabus

APPSC Panchayat Secretary Screening Test Syllabus is released. Panchayat Secretaries Screening Test Syllabus and Panchayat Secretaries Main Exam Syllabus is released by APPSC. APPSC Panchayat Secretary Screening Test will be conducted for 150 marks, while main examination will be conducted for 300 marks. There will be two papers in the main examination.

7.Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and its Administrative, Economic, Social, Cultural, Political, and legal implications/problems.
8. Evolution of Panchayat Raj system in India including Constitutional amendments and reports of Various Committees.
9. Evolution of Panchayat Raj system in Andhra Pradesh
10. Key Schemes of Panchayat Raj Department of A.P
11. Rural Economy of Andhra Pradesh: Agriculture, Small scale Industries Rural artisans.
12. Rural Credit Scenario of Andhra Pradesh: Role of Banks, co-operatives and Micro Finance.
13. Women Empowerment and Economic development through Self Help Groups




Above topics are given in APPSC Panchayat Secretary Screening Test Syllabus. Last time, in the year 2012, APPSC has released P.S Notification for the recruitment of 2677 Panchayat Secretaries in unified Andhra Pradesh.

APPSC Panchayat Secretary Recruitment Notification 2016 will soon be released for 1000 Panchayat Secretary Vacancies. Grade 4 AP Panchayat Secretaries Recruitment 2016 will be conducted by APPSC. District wise APPSC Panchayat Secretary Vacancies will be informed after official APPSC Panchayat Secretary Recruitment Notification is published.

Earlier, Govt of AP, Department of Finance has given green signal for P.S Recruitment vide G.O Ms.No.110, Dated 17.06.2016. AP State Government accord permission to fill in 10,000 vacancies in different categories including the categories that are classified as Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 Services, other gazetted, non-gazetted and technical categories in various departments, through direct recruitment.




APPSC Panchayat Secretary Main Exam contains two papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. 150 questions will be given from each paper. Total questions are 300 for 300 marks. 300 minutes time is allotted to answer these questions.

Paper 1: General Studies and Mental Ability
Paper 2: Rural Development and Problems in Rural Areas with special reference to Andhra Pradesh.
