Several exit poll results have predicted Trinamool Congress will come to power in West Bengal, DMK party will come to power in Tamilnadu and LDF will come to power in Kerala.

Earlier ECI (Election Commission of India) has released West Benga, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Assam Assembly Elections Schedule on the 4th March 2016. Nominations were filed from 11th March 2016 in West Bengal while Nomination were filed for Tamilnadu and Kerala from 22nd April 2016. West Bengal Assembly Elections 2016 are scheduled to be held in five phases, starting from 4th April 2016 to 5th May 2016. There are 294 assembly constituencies in West Bengal.
