ORDER:

• In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have not issued orders declaring 25.03.2016 as Holiday on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY under Negotiable Instrument Act 1881.
• In the letters 2nd & 3rd read above, the Convenor, United Forum of Bank Unions State Unit, Koti, Hyderabad and General Secretary, Bank Employees’ Federation of India, have requested to declare 25.03.2016 (Friday) as Holiday on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY.
• The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to declare as Holiday on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY on 25.03.2016 under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh State

NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.3644, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 09.12.2015 notifying the Holidays, the Government hereby notify 25.03.2016 to be observed as Holiday on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY notified earlier, under N.I. Act.
