GHMC Election Results 2016
GHMC Election Results 2016 will be announced on 5th February 2016 after 5pm. GHMC Election Live Results will be available @http://tsec.gov.in website. Party wise TRS, TDP, BJP, MIM, Congress GHMC Election Results 2016, complete list of winners will be available by 8pm on 2.05.2016. There are 150 divisions under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area. This page will be updated with Division wise, Ward wise GHMC Results 2016 with in few minutes after TSEC announce results officially.
GHMC Elections were conducted peacefully on the 2nd February 2015. EC has ordered re polling in one division on the 5th February 2016. Re polling will be held at Puranapul division of the old city after complaints of rigging by political parties during the polling on the 2nd February 2016. Because of this GHMC Election Results 2016 will be announced only after 5pm, but not at 8am as announced earlier. Complete results and GHMC Elections winning candidates list will likely be declared by 8pm. 1333 candidates are in the fray for this year Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections in 150 divisions. TRS fielded candidates for all the 150 divisions, Congress candidates are in 149 divisions, TDP candidates are in 95 divisions, BJP candidates are in 66 divisions, MIM candidates are in 66 divisions, Lok Satta Party candidates are in 26 divisions, CPI candidates 21, CPM candidates 22, Other Party candidates 49 and Independents are 640. Counting of votes will be held on 5th February 2016 by 3pm at 24 identified counting centers.

Earlier TSEC has issued GHMC Election Notification for the conduct of elections to the 150 wards under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area and invited nominations. After scrutiny, 1333 candidates are in fray from all political parties including independents. In the year 2009 Congress party has emerged as the largest party by winning 52/150 seats. AIMIM has won 43 wards, TDP has got 45 seats, BJP has won 5 seats, Others 5 seats.
