Medaram Jatara 2016
Medaram Jatara Special Buses will be run from 14.02.2016. TSRTC is running Medaram Jatara Special Buses/Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jatara Special Buses from Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy. Medaram Jatara Special Buses will run from 14th February 2016 to 21st February 2016. About 3605 Special Buses will be run by TSRTC for Medaram Jatara 2016. Medaram Jatara 2016 is being celebrated from 17th February 2016
TSRTC officials said that 3605 buses will be deployed to take devotees from 51 points in the state to Medaram. As many as 1,910 buses from Warangal, 640 buses from Karimnagar, 410 buses from Khammam, 225 buses from Nizamabad, 360 buses from Adilabad and 60 buses from Rangareddy (Hyderabad) will take devotees to their destinations. Private vehicles are likely to be stopped at Narlapur. TSRTC will operate shuttle services connecting Narlapur to Medaram.
TSRTC will also run AC buses from Hyderabad to Medaram and Medaram to Hyderabad. People need to book tickets for these Medaram Special Buses in advance. A total of 7,300 drivers, 2,500 conductors, 1,000 security personnel, 500 supervisors and 150 other officers will be drafted for Medaram Jatara special duties.

TSRTC Medaram Special Bus Charges are as follows.
- Warangal to Medaram: Rs.150
- Hyderabad to Medaram: Rs.310
- Warangal to Medaram: Rs.190 for Super Luxury Buses
- Hyderabad to Medaram: Rs.410 for Super Luxury Buses
- Warangal to Medaram: Rs.230 AC Bus
- Hyderabad to Medaram: Rs.510 AC Bus
Medaram Jatara is a Tribal festival celebrated for every two years in Telangana State. Huge number of devotees attend to this Medaram Jatara from all parts of India. Devotees from AP, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharastra, Karnataka, Kerala visit Sammmakka Saralakka Jatara. Medaram Jatra begins at Medaram village in Tadvai Mandal in Warangal district of Telangana state. It is expected that about 1 crore devotees will visit Medaram Jatara 2016.
Sammakka Saralamma Jatara 2016 Dates
- 17.02.2016: Goddess Saralamma will arrive to Platform (Gadde).
- 18.02.2016: Goddess Sammakka will arrive to Platform (Gadde).
- 19.02.2016: Devotees offer Naivedyam
- 20.02.2016: Goddess Sammakkar and Saralamma will return to forest.
