RGUKT IIIT Result/Merit List 2016

RGUKT IIIT Result, AP/Telangana RGUKT IIIT Merit List and Selected Candidates List 2016 Basara, Nuzvid, R.K Vally was released today. AP/Telangana RGUKT IIIT Counselling Notification for Nuzvid, Basara and R.K Vally campus will be released and available at the respective RGUKT website. AP/Telangana RGUKT IIIT Admissions Counselling will likely be held in the month of July 2016.

IIIT Certificate verification will be conducted from 1st July 2016 for IIIT Nuzvid and R.K Vally. Classes will be commenced from 1st August 2016.

AP/Telangana RGUKT IIIT Admissions Selection List is expected to be released on 11.06.2016. AP TS RGUKT IIIT Counselling 2016 will likely be held in two phases. IIIT Classes will likely be commenced from 1st August 2016. Earlier Applications were invited for admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated B.Tech program for the academic year 2016-2017.

Eligibility for Admissions
a) Regular students who passed SSC or its equivalent examination (10th class) held in 2016 in the first attempt
b) Age not more than 18 years as on 31.12.2016 (21 years in case of SC / ST candidates)

RGUKT IIIT Admissions Guidelines

• Admissions will be based on merit in the10th class Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject, and by following the statutory reservations of the State.
• A deprivation score of 0.4, as prescribed by the Government under Statute 13 (3), will be added to the 10th class GPA of the applicants from non-residential Government Schools including Zillaparishad and Municipal Schools, with an objective to help the students from social and economically deprived sections of the society.
• Admissions to 85% of the total available seats will be reserved for ‘Local Candidates’ (Osmania University area, Telangana State); and the remaining 15% of the seats are ‘unreserved’ and filled by the students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States; as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganisation Act, 2014.
• Students belonging to States other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students are eligible for admission in supernumerary seats

AP/Telangana RGUKT IIIT Selection List 2016

Telangana IIIT Selection List/AP IIIT Selection List 2016 can be downloaded from the Telangana RGUKT Official website http://ts-admissions.rgukt.in. and http://www.rgukt.in respectively. Candidates who have applied for the Telangana IIIT course and AP IIIT Course can download AP/TS RGUKT IIIT Merit List 2016/IIIT Admissions Selected Candidates List from the AP and TS IIIT Admissions Website.

The primary objective of establishing RGUKT was to provide high quality educational opportunities for the aimed rural youth of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The initial goal was that at least the top 1 % of the rural graduates would be given the opportunity to study at RGUKT. AP RGUKT IIIT Admissions Notification 2016/TS RGUKT IIIT Admission Notification 2016 have already been released in the month of May 2016.

IIIT, Basara Selection List has been published today. IIIT Nuzvid and R.K Vally Selection Lists will shortly be released and uploaded into the respective official websites.
